\"lynnkoolish31800px\"Lynn Koolish\u00a0is a fiber artist, teacher, and author. She is most known for her bright colors and hand-dyed fabric. She also creates mixed-media fiber art.<\/span><\/p>\n

She teaches locally in the San Francisco Bay Area and nationally at venues including International Quilt Festival in Houston and Quilters Affair in Sisters, Oregon.<\/p>\n

She has written\/co-written 5 books including Fast, Fun & Easy Fabric Dyeing<\/em>, The Wonderful Colorful Wonder Wheel of Color<\/em> (with Kerry Graham and Mary Wruck), Innovative Fabric Imagery for Quilts<\/em> (with Cyndy Rymer), and More Photo Fun<\/em> (with the Hewlett-Packard Company and Cyndy Rymer). \nLynn Koolish is a Bay Area Fabric Artist specializing in art quilts and fabric dyeing and painting. Lynn’s sense of color and design has been shaped by assorted careers and pastimes including theatrical costume and lighting design, photography, and Ikebana (Japanese flower arranging), not to mention a variety of quilting and surface design classes. Lynn Koolish became captivated by the seemingly endless possibilities of color and pattern that dyeing presented and has been dyeing and painting fabric ever since. Her hand-dyed and painted fabric is incorporated into quilts ranging in style from not quite traditional to definitely an art quilt.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
